Tried to call ahead to get takeout this morning at 11:26 AM but the phone went directly to voicemail after 2 rings. They must have not taken it off forwarding from the night before.
I've eaten here before and the food is worth the drive out to just north of the Boulevard to pick up. The small parking lot can make it difficult to dine-in or take-out during prime eating hours and they weren't professional enough to take their phone off forwarding; otherwise, this would be a 5-star review. The food is delicious and the price doesn't feel like a bargain, but it does feel worth if for delicious barbecue. -

The nicest place ever! Clean, family oriented, and excellent food makes this a top spot. They were close to closing and we told them we would come another time. They came out to our car and invited us in to eat with no thought for their own time. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the food was awesome. Sweet potato soufflé had crushed pecans and was worth the trip itself! Turkey was moist and cooked to perfection.
Do not miss the opportunity to meet these fine people and eat here. You will not be disappointed. -

We tried the bbq on our way through Amarillo. We thought the jalapeno sausage was full of flavor and delicious. They have four tea varieties and we really enjoyed the unsweet black tea with lemon. Only gave 4 stars because we thought the brisket was dry and the toast was soggy. We would go back for the jalapeno sausage and to try the ribs.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The brisket melts in your mouth! The service was exceptional. If you are in Amarillo or passing through you have to stop here.
